SHOW HOME SHINES IN STAFFORDSHIRE

STYLED in mauve and silver, the new show home at Brook Meadow in Loggerheads is a shining example of the high specification properties from Elan Homes.

Situated on Mucklestone Road, on the Staffordshire/Shropshire border, the properties are just four miles from Market Drayton and around 30 minutes’ drive from Stafford, Stoke-on-Trent and Telford.

Alex Egan, from Stanza Style, explained: “We’ve used a mauve, silver and steel grey colour palette in the new Brandon show home at Brook Meadow. It’s has a glamourous feel to it. It’s a real contrast to the more countrified look in the neighbouring Stratford, which we styled in green and duck egg tones with lot of delicate florals.”

The open plan kitchen, dining and family room is at the heart of the four-bedroom Brandon. It’s well equipped with integrated appliances, with lots of storage space and practical worktops for preparing ingredients.

The separate lounge stretches from the front to the rear, with windows at the front and side offering lots of natural light to emphasise its spaciousness.

“The lounge in the Brandon is a good size and so we’ve furnished it with a statement sofa in a muted purple and added silver cushions,” Alex added.

“This room also features a tripod floor lamp, with silver legs and a purple shade, plus a glass and mirrored coffee table.”

A utility and cloakroom complete the ground floor.

Upstairs, the master bedroom benefits from an en-suite, with the family bathroom serving the remaining three bedrooms.

“We’ve imagined a family with young children living here. There’s a bright and colourful children’s bedroom with spotty wallpaper, plus coordinating throw and other accessories. The colourful décor is tempered by the white furniture including dressing table, chair and mirror,” Alex explained.

“In the master bedroom, there’s delicate autumn tree wallpaper in silver, which sits behind the steel grey over-sized headboard. Layers of cushions add texture and colour.”

There’s also a teenager’s bedroom and a guest room.

Brook Meadow offers a choice of three, four and five-bedroom homes, with current prices from £209,995 to £439,995.

While homes priced under £300,000 are Stamp Duty exempt for first time buyers, Elan is offering to cover the cost of the tax on selected properties for a limited time only.

Alternatively, those with a home to sell could use Elan’s EasyMove scheme to help them secure a buyer for the property they want to move from.
