EXPERIENCED SALES EXEC READY TO GO THE DISTANCE WITH ELAN

AN endurance athlete with more than two decades of experience of selling new homes has run into an old colleague in her new role with Elan Homes.

Shirley Anderson has joined the Cheshire-based homebuilder as a sales executive, selling new homes at Millfields in Middleton.

Shirley has worked in the housing industry for 24 years in a variety of roles including new homes sales, conducting land appraisals for new sites and helping sellers become buyers as a part exchange manager.

Shirley has worked for large PLC homebuilders and has previously worked alongside Elan’s regional sales director Marie Morris.

Shirley has represented Team GB as an age group athlete in the duathlon, has run numerous marathons and ultramarathons.

“I’m bit of an endurance freak,” Shirley laughed. “Over the years I’ve raised around £10,000 for various charities through my love of endurance sports. I love cooking too, particularly anything with spices.  I’m a big foodie – I need to be for the energy.”
