NEW HOMES IN BLACKPOOL PROGRESSING WELL

AROUND a quarter of new homes on a Blackpool development are now occupied.

Elan Homes is making good progress with its Redwood Gardens development on Redwood Boulevard.

Earlier this year the company sold the original show home and moved into a new one, further into the site, close to the public open space.

Marie Morris, sales director for Elan Homes in the North, said: “We’ve welcomed homeowners into 20 properties at Redwood Gardens so far. A sense of community is starting to develop among the residents, which is great to see. We also have a number of homes that have been reserved or where contracts have been exchanged and are pending legal completion. Homes are released for sale in line with our build programme, which helps align the sales and construction timeline with the mortgage offer period.

“While we’ll be building and selling homes here until early 2026, there’s a sense of urgency amongst some buyers. We are working with people who have been studying the plans to identify exactly which property they want to buy and have eagerly made an “early bird” reservation to give them first refusal when it’s released for sale. This doesn’t necessarily mean every purchaser will have to wait while we build their new home. We have a small number of properties that can be ready to move into as soon as the legal formalities are complete.”

Redwood Gardens offers a good choice of three and four-bedroom homes.

Current prices start from £239,995 for a three-bedroom detached Bay style property.

A three-bedroom detached Fylde is ready to move into from £309,995 and includes flooring throughout and turfed rear garden.

Elan has a range of incentives available, on selected new homes and subject to terms and conditions, to help make moving simple and easier to afford.

These include the offer of a 5% deposit boost or Own New Rate Reducer, which gives buyers access to lower rate mortgages for the initial mortgage period.

To help homeowners sell up and move on, Elan is offering part exchange, effectively giving buyers the reassurance of a guaranteed cash buyer for the house they want to move from.

Located in Marton Moss, the homes at Redwood Garden are ideally placed, with a wealth of local amenities nearby. Marton Moss Local Nature Reserve is within easy reach. Lytham’s famous green is less than five miles away, along with the town’s boutique stores and popular restaurants. In the other direction, Blackpool Tower, the Grand Theatre and a host of other attractions are easily accessible.
