HOMEOWNERS are invited to join Elan Homes this weekend (March 25-26) to discover the easy way of moving to a new build home near Lytham.
The homebuilder is hosting a special EasyMove event at its Redwood Gardens development on the Fylde peninsular to help sellers secure a buyer quickly and simply so that they can then buy an energy efficient new home.
There’s even the chance to own the professionally styled show home.
Sales director Marie Morris explained: “From energy efficiency to being able to move straight in without having to worry about repairs or renovations, there are lots of benefits to buying a new build over an existing property.
“Research by the HBF suggests that it costs around £70,000 to bring an older house to the same standard as a new build three-bedroom semi-detached. Plus, they estimate that there’s the potential for homeowners to save around £2,600 a year on their energy bills in a new build.
“The ease of living a new build home offers applies even before moving day. We’ll help homeowners secure a buyer for the property they want to move from with our EasyMove scheme. It doesn’t matter if you’re moving up the housing ladder or downsizing. We’ll value your home and instruct independent estate agents to market it.
“When you receive an acceptable offer, you can reserve your new Elan home. You’ll exchange contracts with your buyer and us simultaneously and we’ll even pay the agent’s fees.”
Current prices at Redwood Gardens start from £246,995 for a three-bedroom detached Bay style property, offering 973 sq ft of living space, up to £459,995 for a generously proportioned four-bedroom detached Azure spanning 1,873 sq ft. The Cove show home, which has been decorated throughout, is available from £354,995.
All new Elan homes achieve a minimum EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) B rating.
“Because they’re so efficient, our homes are eligible for green mortgages from selected lenders. These tend to offer more favourable rates than standard mortgages, plus we can put buyers in touch with independent financial advisors to help them find the right mortgage product to secure a new home,” Marie added.
Elan’s homes at Redwood Gardens are being built less than five miles away from
Lytham’s famous green and the town’s boutique stores and popular restaurants. In the other direction, Blackpool Tower, the Grand Theatre and a host of other attractions are within easy reach.
The Cove show home at Redwood Gardens is open Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5pm. The EasyMove event take place this weekend (March 25-26). For more information about the homes available at Redwood Gardens see www.elan-homes.co.uk/developments/redwood-gardens.
