HOMEOWNERS could find that moving to one of the final new homes near Parkgate is plain sailing with part exchange.
Elan Homes is offering sellers the luxury of being able to climb the housing ladder to a new home at Old Quay Meadow without having to worry about finding a buyer for their current property. The homebuilder will explain all during a special part exchange event this weekend (June 16/17) at the popular development.
The final phase of Old Quay Meadow offers a choice of four and five-bedroom detached homes, less than a mile from the Dee estuary at Parkgate.
Marie Morris, sales director for Elan Homes in the North, said: “The spaciousness of the homes at Old Quay Meadow means they’re perfect family homes, well-suited for those who want to move up the housing ladder. The general consensus among visitors is that they love the design of the homes and the location – who wouldn’t want to live close to a coastal resort where they can enjoy ice cream and fish and chips – but in many cases have a house to sell before they can buy.
“Now that the final phase is on sale, there’s a growing sense of urgency with homeowners fearing they will miss out on moving here while they try to secure a buyer. We aim to help ease those concerns by offering part exchange.
“In essence this means we’ll buy the customer’s property so that they can buy one of our luxurious new homes. We will also pay for the survey and agent’s fees on the customer’s property, plus they will have the reassurance of a confirmed buyer and the convenience of not having to move until their new Elan home is ready.”
Current prices at Old Quay Meadow start from £419,995.
For those who don’t require part exchange, Elan can offer alternative move-making incentives including covering the cost of Stamp Duty at the first home rate only, contributing £1,000 towards legal fees and including carpets and floor tiling in the price.
Homes at Old Quay Meadow are ideally situated close to Neston town centre, home to a popular weekly market, and less than a mile from The Parade at Parkgate, famed for fish and chips and award-winning ice-cream.
Homeowners can make the most of the location by taking a stroll along the promenade and taking in views of the Dee estuary at Parkgate or perhaps exploring the Wirral Way or Wirral Country Park by bicycle or on foot.
It’s also a location that puts three cities – Chester, Liverpool and Manchester – within easy reach, offering commuters the ideal escape.
