NEW HOMES ON THE MENU AS ELAN SERVES UP A TASTY LAUNCH EVENT IN SOMERTON

ELAN Homes are hoping their delectable new show home has the right ingredients to tempt buyers after it was launched with the help of a local celebrity chef.

Former Masterchef finalist Angela Langford test drove the new show home kitchen at Pippard’s Court in Somerton, Somerset, while giving visitors a seasonal cooking demonstration and some delicious samples to try.

“Angela has cooked for some of the nation’s top chefs during her Masterchef appearance and she created some fabulous dishes for our homebuyers to try.”

Angela - whose parents once ran a successful restaurant and hotel in Somerton - owns her own skincare brand, has a pop-up restaurant and, along with being a regular guest at food festivals, has been a guest judge on BBC1’s Masterchef following her original appearance on the show when she reached the finals in 2014.

As well as demonstrating how to make a selection of summer dishes at Pippard’s Court, including bruschetta with goats cheese, roasted grapes and rosemary, crispy duck and mango salad and elderflower pannacotta with rhubarb, Angela shared recipes and tips with visitors.

“It was a lovely and entertaining way to launch our brand new show home at this select development,” Said Catherine. “We’re delighted that we have several people interested in purchasing one of the new properties now they have seen a completed and fully furnished townhouse and the high specification on offer.”
