Visitors to St Thomas Priory in Baswich were treated to sumptuous tasters courtesy of a former Masterchef finalist during an open house weekend event.
Angela Langford put on her apron and whipped up an array of easy-to-replicate sweet and savoury dishes in the Fulford show home kitchen, with recipe cards handed out to people coming along to take a tour of Elan Homes’ enticing development.
The cookery masterclass was followed up with expert advice, plus free goody bags, to help people enhance their skin, with Angela – who runs a skincare company – perfectly placed to provide handy hint and tips.
“It’s not every day you can step into a show home kitchen and find an exceptional Masterchef contestant cooking and serving up appetising dishes, said Tracey Ball, Regional Sales Director for Elan Homes (Midlands).
“It was a joy to see Angela in action at St Thomas Priory and visitors taking tours of our collection of brand new homes were incredibly enthused to try new food, take away recipe ideas – plus learn some tricks of the trade from a skincare expert.”
The four-bedroom Fulford mid-mews property, part of the stunning Friary House, was an ideal venue to host Angela, boasting an open plan kitchen, dining area and living room, together with a study, utility room and downstairs WC.
Combined with the spacious bedrooms upstairs, there is also a large family bathroom and en-suite shower room off the master bedroom.
St Thomas Priory occupies an area steeped in history, with Elan sympathetically designing these properties so that they are keeping in with its past. A small development three and four bedroom homes, it also has the benefit of views over the surrounding Staffordshire countryside.
“There are many reasons to choose St Thomas Priory as a dream place to live, including a fantastic semi-rural setting and high quality homes that ooze style – and a visit to see for yourself is highly recommended,” Tracey added.
You can also visit the fully furnished show home from Thursday to Monday, 10am to 5pm. Alternatively, call 01785 319 328 or see St Thomas Priory.
