BESPOKE designed apartments in Lichfield will be open for viewing next weekend (March 22/23).
Elan Homes has honoured the history and integrity of the existing building off Rotten Row, known as Lorne House, while transforming it into apartments fit for modern living.
That work is now complete and so the homebuilder is inviting buyers to view the available apartments and learn about its Easy Move scheme.
Elan regional sales director Tracey Ball explained: “Around 90% of the enquiries we’ve received from people interested in the apartments at Lorne House are from people looking to downsize. In many cases they’ve been studying the floor plans and have watched the video tour of our show apartment but are unsure how the space would suit their lifestyle or still have a property to sell. With that in mind, we’re opening the doors to the five apartments available.
“During the open weekend we’ll also be guiding homeowners through our Easy Move scheme. Designed to streamline the selling and buying process, we’ll value the customer’s home and instruct independent estate agents to market it. When an acceptable offer is received, they can reserve their new apartment.
“There’s no link between the value of the two properties; contracts will be exchanged simultaneously and there are no agent’s fees to pay.”
Prices for the apartments start from £385,000.
There’s one available on the ground floor, with its own entrance and private courtyard garden.
Apartments on the upper floors are accessed via a central lobby and staircase or lift. There are two on the first floor, plus two penthouses with vaulted ceilings and exposed steel, on the second floor.
Each has a combined kitchen, dining and living room to maximise the potential of the space.
The main bedroom in every apartment has an en-suite, effectively making the main bathroom the guest bathroom. For those who only need the second bedroom for friends and family staying over, they could create a dual function space in the spare bedroom, also using it as a home gym, luxurious dressing room or hobby room.
“Our apartments in Lichfield offer the chance to live in a building that’s full of charm and character, but without the need to embark on a major renovation project,” Tracey added.
“The apartments enjoy all the benefits of new home including ease of maintenance, with well equipped kitchens and sleek modern bathrooms and highly efficient heating systems.”
It’s not just the design of the apartments that offers buyers the best of both worlds.
They enjoy a quiet setting as part of an intimate development, yet all the amenities of the historic city of Lichfield are just a short walk away. Birmingham can be reached in around 45 minutes including walking to nearby Lichfield City station.
