A LUXURIOUS show home complete with cinema room has premiered in Ramsbottom to rave reviews from homebuyers.
Elan Homes rolled out the red carpet for those who had reserved homes at the popular Holcombe Gardens giving them an exclusive preview of the Croft show home.
The showcase property is now open for general viewing, by appointment only.
Marie Morris, sales director for Elan Homes in the North, said: “Due to the level of enquiries we received about the homes at Holcombe Gardens we gave our homeowners and database first access to the show home and the overwhelming feedback is they love it. From the spaciousness to the specification and suggestions of how they could use the space, they’ve been really inspired by viewing the show home.”
Set out over three floors with a split level design to make the most of the land available and taking the topography of the site into consideration, the Croft is a generously proportioned home offering 2,436 sq ft of living space.
“It’s a really impressive home with lots of flexible space,” said Alex Egan, from Stanza Style, who dressed and furnished the showcase property.
At ground level it features an open plan kitchen, breakfast area and family room that spans the width of the property and offers direct access out onto the garden. This sociable space is complemented by a separate lounge and a dedicated dining room, with a utility and cloakroom completing the accommodation on this level.
Five bedrooms, two with en-suite, are on the top floor, along with the family bathroom.
A further bedroom and shower room are located in the basement, but the Elan team have explored alternative uses for this space.
“We’ve tried to think about who might live in this home and how they’d use the space. In the basement we’ve created a cinema room, with cosy corner sofa, artwork depicting blockbuster films – the perfect setting for a family film night. Alternatively, because there’s a shower room on this level it could just as easily become a gym or a work from home space,” Alex explained.
“The kitchen, breakfast and family room is huge with lots of potential and lovely views out onto the garden. It could easily accommodate a big table with 8 or even 10 chairs. It could mean buyers opt to forego a formal dining room in favour of using that space as a snug or TV room,” Alex suggested.
Designers have styled the show home in steel blue and burnt orange.
The family room includes water colour effect ombre wallpaper; while muslin curtains in this sociable room help make the most of the natural light and bring the outside inside.
It includes fun children’s rooms including one for a budding fashionista with full length mirror and other accessories; a rugby themed bedroom with mural and vintage rugby balls, plus an “opposites” twin bedroom – perfect for siblings who can’t agree.
Demonstrating how spacious the property is, bedroom two has triple wardrobes; while the first floor landing has been furnished with a black console table with a mirrored clock above it.
Holcombe Gardens offers a choice of homes with three to six-bedrooms.
The new homes are being built within walking distance of the amenities of Ramsbottom town centre, while Bury, Bolton, Burnley, Blackburn, Rochdale and central Manchester are all within commuting distance.
