NEW homes in Higher Kinnerton are in high demand – with three snapped up in the first few days.
Elan Homes has just launched its Kinnerton Meadows development in the Flintshire village, where a five-bedroom fully furnished Mellor style show home is now open.
It’s proved an instant success thanks to the sought-after location and superb specification with dozens of visitors and three instant sales.
Anyone interested in the four and five-bedroom homes is encouraged to visit the development at their earliest opportunity.
Alex Egan, from Stanza Style, said: “We’ve styled the show home at Kinnerton Meadows using a mustard yellow and taupe colour scheme to create a sense of earthiness that reflects the rural location. It’s a popular scheme with visitors and we’ve had people ask how they can achieve the same look in their homes.”
Alex explained: “In the dining room we’ve opted for dark wood furniture with black chairs, which are both on trend for autumn. In the lounge we’ve chosen subtle mink textured wallpaper with fabric woven cushions and gorgeous curtains with a beautiful trim. Stunning stone lamps enhance the ambience of this room, while ceramic leaves on the walls give a nod to the country setting.
“The open plan kitchen, dining and family room is a focal point and we’ve thought carefully how people might use the space. There’s a full corner sofa, position for a TV and a table set for five, plus bar stools at the island for additional seating. Window style mirrors add depth to this multifunctional room.”
Completing the ground floor is the cloakroom, featuring ombre effect wallpaper.
Alex described the master bedroom suite as “huge”, furnished with a king size bed and a chaise, plus lots of embroidered fabrics including silver thread satin bedding with shimmer for a hint of classic glamour. Mirrored bedsides complement the dressing table, which has a velvet chair. There’s also a lovely chrome and crystal light fitting, plus sumptuous tie-back curtains.
“Chester is just a few miles away and so we’ve imagined that one of the children of the family who might live here is a keen rower and styled their bedroom with oars on the wall, a porthole effect mirror and other rowing themed accessories,” Alex added.
“We’ve also created a little girl’s room with lots of personality. We’ve imagined it’s the bedroom of a young nature lover and so have accessorised it with bird boxes, bird cages and a cuckoo clock. The bird and flower theme carries through to the yellow and lilac border, which sits atop of polka dot white and yellow wallpaper.
“There’s a bedroom styled in grey with a touch of mustard that could either be a teenager’s room or a guest room. Geometric feature wallpaper in this room is complemented by a high gloss grey wooden chest of drawers and deep buttoned grey headboard.
“The remaining bedroom has a softer feel with upholstered grey bedsides with studding, providing the perfect contrast to the palm leaf and silver wallpaper. We’ve chosen washed wood furniture in here including triple wardrobes, a linen chair and lamps.”
While the Mellor has been expertly styled throughout, the four-bedroom Brandon view home offers a blank canvas.
Current prices at Kinnerton Meadows start from £369,995 for a four-bedroom detached Milburn style home with integral single garage.
The homes will enjoy a leafy setting, with existing pine trees at the front of the site being retained within the public open space, providing an attractive focal feature. There will also be a tree-lined avenue into the site leading to a larger area of public open space including a local area of play.
With nearby access to the A55 and A483, the location is within easy reach of towns and coastal resorts across North Wales and only a few miles away from the beautiful city of Chester plus the M53 and M56 motorways.
Kinnerton Meadows is open Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5pm. For more information see https://www.elan-homes.co.uk/developments/kinnerton-meadows/ or call 0845 293 8973.NEW homes in Higher Kinnerton are in high demand – with three snapped up in the first few days.
