HOTLY anticipated new homes in Poynton will be released for sale off plan next month in response to demand.
More than 1,700 people have registered interest in just 93 private sale properties at the Hazelfields development on Hazelbadge Rod.
Due to the volume of enquiries Elan Homes will be hosting an exclusive invitation-only event for those on the database.
Marie Morris, sales director for Elan Homes in the North, said: “The interest we’ve seen in our new homes in Poynton is phenomenal and demonstrates that there’s a real demand for high quality housing in the area. We’re working towards opening show homes in the summer, but understand that some people simply can’t wait to find out more. We’ll be inviting those who’ve enquired to an exclusive event at which we’ll be releasing the first phase of homes for sale. They’ll need to confirm their attendance as spaces will be limited. We’d encourage anyone looking for a new home anywhere in Poynton, Stockport or across Cheshire East to register their interest to be among the first to find out more about the homes we’re building.”
Hazelfields will offer everything from one-bedroom apartments to substantial five-bedroom detached homes, reflecting local need. Prices for the properties will be announced at the preview event.
Construction is being overseen by award-winning site manager Wayne Aron. Wayne has worked for the company for 10 years and is committed to delivering high quality new homes.
The first properties at Hazelfields will be ready to move into in late summer/ early autumn.
Elan is building across just 7.47 acres of a 20.45 acre site. There will be lots of open space, including a play area, with trees retained at the centre of the development, along with a woodland n the boundary.
As the homes are taking shape close to Lower Park Primary, Elan will create a car park for the school as part of community investments worth almost £1.8 million.
Elan has agreed to fund more than £750,000 worth of highways improvements, with funding allocated towards Poynton Relief Road, a bus stop opposite Hilton Grove and cycle lane provision. A car park will also be created on site to provide extra school parking.
Almost £662,000 will be shared between local schools, with more than £130,000 allocated for the development of Priorsleigh Medical Centre and McIlvride Medical Centre. Sports facilities at Deva Close Playing Fields and Poynton Leisure Centre will benefit from almost £120,000 worth of investment. Further funding has been allocated towards Kerridge Hill Nature Reserve, plus allotments and community gardens.
