WITH the final new homes in Dukinfield on sale, there’s no time like the present for those hoping to wrap up a move in time for Christmas.
There are just two properties available at Greenside View and they’ll all be ready to move into ahead of the festive season.
Recognising that potential purchasers are likely to have a property to sell, Elan is offering the gift of part exchange.
Marie Morris, sales director for Elan Homes in the North, said: “If a new home in Tameside tops your wish list this year, Greenside View is a must visit – there’s even the chance to own the show home with all the trimmings. It, along with one other property we have available in the same style has come back onto the market due to changes to buyers’ circumstances.
“However, we can help homeowners to box off a move to a new home in time for Christmas with part exchange. In simple terms, we act as a guaranteed cash buyer for the customer’s existing property, freeing them up to climb the housing ladder so that they can buy a new build home from us.
“There are no complicated chains or, worse, a chain that breaks. There are no last-minute haggles over the price either. We aim to exchange contracts in a matter of weeks, with the customer able to continue living in their current property until their new home is ready to move into which could be this side of Christmas.”
The final homes available at Greenside View are two three-bedroom semi-detached Droylsden style properties, priced from £309,9995, with the show home on the market at £319,995.
The Droylsden offers 986 sq ft of living space, including a combined kitchen and dining room at the front, lounge with direct access to the garden at the rear, plus convenient cloakroom. Upstairs, are three bedrooms, one with en-suite, plus the family bathroom.
The show home has been styled with a colour palette of coral, indigo blue and mint to create a fresh look to appeal to a mix of buyers.
Instead of having one feature wall in the lounge, the same geometric wallpaper has been used at both ends to help emphasise the size of the room.
The kitchen/dining room has been painted in a soft blush coral.
The cloakroom has a feature mural showing art deco buildings in tones that pull together the colours from throughout the home.
The main bedroom features navy geometric wallpaper with coral accents, while the en-suite has been styled with coral tones.
Bedroom two has been styled as a guest room, with a two-metre circle painted in coral behind the headboard as a feature that’s very much on trend.
The third bedroom features a hand painted golf themed mural, giving a nod to the neighbouring golf course.
Elan’s homes achieve a minimum Energy Performance Certificate rating of B, making them cheaper to run than most older properties. This also means they’re eligible for green mortgages from selected lenders.
Located on Yew Tree Lane, Greenside View is a 33-home development. As the name suggests, some of the homes look out on to the gorgeous greens of the golf course. Others benefit from panoramic views of the Manchester city skyline. The city centre is less than 10 miles away, making this a great base for commuters.
