NEW homes near Parkgate are hot property – five were sold in as many weeks and with the final few now available buyers will need to act fast.
Elan Homes attributes the sales success at Old Quay Meadow to a sizzling combination of location – the homes are less than a mile from The Parade at Parkgate and within commuting distance of Liverpool, Chester and Manchester – and specification, plus high standards of customer care.
Based on the recent sales rate, would-be homeowners face a race to secure a move to the popular development.
Marie Morris, sales director for Elan Homes in the North, explains: “Traditionally summer is a quiet time for the housing industry, but Old Quay Meadow has really bucked the trend as it’s been busier than ever with five sales in five weeks. Part of that could be linked to the influx of visitors to Parkgate during the warmer weather, but also the fact that the local market is hotting up. Sales executive Kenneth Bracewell-Murray has made real strides in helping match people with their dream home, guiding those with a house to sell through our Easy Move and part exchange schemes so that they can make their next move on the housing ladder.
“The recent success means availability is now limited and we would encourage potential purchasers to act fast to avoid missing out. They could be just weeks away from moving.”
Prices at Old Quay Meadow start from £424,995.
Among the homes available is a four-bedroom detached Alvechurch that’s almost ready to move into.
The Alvechurch offers 1,591 sq ft of living space including lounge to the front, with open plan kitchen, dining and family room, plus adjoining utility to the rear. A cloakroom completes the ground floor, and, along with the en-suite to master bedroom, reduces the pressure on the family bathroom.
Priced from £434,995, it’s available with carpets and flooring included. Elan will also cover the cost of Stamp Duty, potentially saving almost £12,000 and contribute £1,000 towards legal fees. Alternatively, homeowners may be able to trade up with part exchange.
Elan has earned a Gold Award for customer satisfaction from independent researchers In-House who found that more than 90% of customers would recommend the homebuilder.
