TWO just launched housing developments in Lancashire have proved an instant success with a flurry of sales in the first month.
Elan Homes quickly established site teams after acquiring land on Whittingham Lane in Broughton and at Church Road in Warton.
The Broughton site is being marketed at Acorn Meadows, while Elan has named the Warton development Rosewood Gardens.
Marie Morris, sales and marketing director for Elan Homes in the North, said: “We’re pleased to have completed the acquisition of the uncompleted areas of sites in the Broughton and Warton areas of Lancashire. The sales centres at both locations are open by appointment only and eager buyers have been keen to reserve new homes at the earliest opportunity. This demonstrates a demand for new homes in Lancashire and is also testament to Elan’s reputation.”
Elan is building and selling homes across Lancashire, including Whittingham Fold in Goosnargh, around half a mile from Acorn Meadows; Redwood Gardens in Marton Moss and Tower Gardens in Darwen.
Across its developments, the homebuilder is providing a wide range of properties.
Two of the eight homes at Acorn Meadows in Broughton being built by Elan have already been reserved.
The development offers a choice of four and five-bedroom bedroom homes with current prices from £344,995.
At Rosewood Gardens in Warton Elan is building 16 new homes, five of which have been reserved.
Current availability at Rosewood Gardens includes a choice of three, four and five-bedroom homes. A Torver style three-bedroom home is now available 80% of the market value, subject to terms and conditions. It means those who satisfy Fylde Council’s affordable housing criteria could purchase a home for £159,039.
Prices for open market homes start from £259,995 for a three-bedroom detached Castlevale style property.
“We’d encourage anyone thinking of moving to a new home in Lancashire to use our mortgage checker to compare the deals available without affecting their credit score,” Marie added.
The homes are highly energy efficient, scoring Energy Performance Certificate B ratings, making them eligible for “green mortgages” while also helping keep bills low.
